Here's how it works:
Our technology uses neural networks to create anatomically accurate 3D avatars to test clothing fit with realistic fabric physics. Imagine heavy knit hoodies hanging naturally or lightweight cotton dresses flaring beautifully. We simulate the real-life fit by taking into account size and unique body features, ensuring larger sizes drape on petite frames, while smaller sizes might stretch on larger ones.
We're seeking an Android developer to help transition from legacy XML to Compose UI, update our codebase from MVVM to MVI, and create numerous custom UI elements. You'll also help implement a design system and work directly with camera and VR libraries.
Technologies we expect you are familiar with:
- Android SDK (Version 24+)
- ARCore
- MVVM, CA
- Unit testing
- Compose UI/Navigation Compose
- Fragment Manager
- Koin/Dagger Hilt
- Result API
- REST API (Retrofit, okHttp, SerializeBuffer)
Infrastructure:
- GitLab
- GitLab CI/CD
- Jira
- Figma
Responsibilities:
- Develop a native virtual fitting room app from scratch that can:
  • Capture selfie videos of a person’s body and head, recording additional camera, scene, and device position parameters
  • Register physical parameters from the camera sensor
- Create the app based on developed designs and requirements
- Integrate with our backend infrastructure through APIs
- Design and maintain scalable and extensible app architecture
What we expect:
- 3+ years of commercial Android app development experience
- Proficient in Kotlin or Java
- Strong knowledge of the Android platform
- Experience in using AR for gathering depth information is a plus
- Ability to independently learn and apply new technologies to the project
- Ability to integrate into existing processes and suggest improvements
- Ability to write clean code and focus on results
